The Allegheny Mountain String Project of Garth Newel Music Center presents the solo recital for students located in Covington and Alleghany County who study at the Clifton Forge School of the Arts. Students will present works ranging from American Classics such as Oh Susannah to European Masterworks including Bruch Violin Concerto. Ann Billias from Sweet Briar College and Washington & Lee will accompany the students on piano. The concert is free and open to the public, sponsored by Garth Newel Music Center and The Alleghany Foundation.
