The Friends of the Clifton Forge Public Library will hold their first book sale in two years on Friday, September 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Saturday, September 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Members of the Friends of the Clifton Forge Public Library may shop during the Pre-Sale on Thursday, September 16, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Members receive a ten percent discount. New memberships will also be received during the Pre-Sale; however, you may join the Friends of the Library at any time throughout the year.
A large selection of new and old books, audio books, CDs, and DVDs will be available for sale. With two years’ worth of donations, there is an especially wide selection of books from which to choose. There is a book for every reader.
As the book collection has outgrown its space in the library, the Clifton Forge Presbyterian Church is letting us use their fellowship hall for the book sale. The church is located across the street from the library on the corner of Jefferson and Church Streets. Enter the fellowship hall through the Jefferson Street entrance.
The funds raised from the book sales are used to purchase new library materials and to support library programs.
