“GEM TREES” WITH LOIS MCMULLAN

The objective of this class is learning how to put together gems on wire to make the form of a tree.  Such as the one pictured here.  The class is open to anyone 15 years old and up, and will be held on September 18th from 1 pm to 4 pm.  All materials will be provided and the cost is $30.  Please register below by September 11th to ensure your spot.

Lois is one of the artists featured in the Shop here at Alleghany Highlands Arts and Crafts Center.  She lives in Botetourt County and draws inspiration from the mixed forest surrounding her log home.  Lois continues to explore new and challenging material to capture the form and essence of her subjects.
