The Clifton Forge Public Library cordially invites the public to attend the program, “More Natural Wonders of the Alleghany Highlands,” presented by Michael Hayslett. It will be held on Thursday, November 21, in the library’s Michael Armstrong Community Room and will begin at 6:30 p.m.
“Our area is beloved by outdoor recreation and nature enthusiasts alike,” Mr. Hayslett says. “’More Natural Wonders of the Alleghany Highlands’ will feature new material that emphasizes the beauty of our mountains in the western Highlands region of Virginia.”
A local field biologist, master naturalist, and educator, Mr. Hayslett’s program will focus on the fascinating natural features, flora, and fauna of the area. Images, photography, and information will also include the region’s wildlife and geology.
Following the program, Mr. Hayslett will encourage participation with questions, comments, and additional information or stories the audience may wish to share.
Light refreshments will be provided.
