The Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce and Tourism hosts and co-sponsors a wide variety of events throughout the year, including networking opportunities, educational events and ribbon cuttings. It sounds like an unlikely combination! Students of All Levels will enjoy this 2-day workshop. Robin will demonstrate step by step using watercolor,(or acrylic can be used). She will provide a variety of templates you can experiment with, then you can branch out with your own subjects. We’ll draw images on rice paper and paint from light colors to dark. Then use melted canning wax to “protect” underlying areas. The process continues until the entire surface is covered with paint…
