2023 Covington Christmas Parade

Join Olde Town Covington and the City of Covington as we gather together downtown for the annual Covington Christmas Parade Saturday, December 2nd at 6:00PM. Prizes awarded to 1st and 2nd place of the following categories:

• Best parade themed float
• Best Religious float
• Best Marching Unit
• Best Equestrian

The parade will lineup in the parking lot of WestRock beginning at 4:00PM. The parade will begin promptly at 6:00PM and move down Riverside, take a left onto N. Short Avenue and continue down Main Street before turning left onto Maple Avenue and disbanding at the Covington Fire Department.

Olde Town invites you to our second year of Magic on Main Street, free events throughout the downtown Covington area sponsored by various businesses and organizations. Please see the calendar for more details on this specific event.

We encourage everyone attending to utilize the parking lots at the Alleghany Highlands Regional Library, MidCity Mall, the former Gordman’s Building, City Hall, the Covington Farmers Market and street parking along side streets of the parade route.  The parade route and some surrounding streets will be closed to all traffic prior to the parade in the early afternoon.
