The Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so your membership dues are tax deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense.

It can provide assistance with your business plan, start-up loans and a variety of other materials and contact information that will ease you into the first steps to open your door for business. In addition, the Chamber offers a wide variety of seminars with valuable information to help you manage and expand your present business.

The Chamber can help you market your business through advertising in our "Alleghany Living" magazine, membership directory or web site. Place your business card or brochure in our office to inform the community about your business. Heighten your profile by sponsoring a Chamber networking event.

Many networking events are offered by the Chamber throughout the year. Business After Hours, business forums, annual golf tournament, awards banquets, Christmas parade, wine tasting event, and annual newcomers picnic offered exclusively to our members are just a few opportunities that will enable you to meet potential customers, community leaders and your business peers.
