Join us offsite at Douthat State Park for this exciting Woodturning: Wooden Pens class!
During this course, participants will be introduced to the essential concepts, tools, and techniques involved in woodturning. Through step-by-step guidance, they will learn how to transform raw wood blanks into intricately designed pens using a lathe, a versatile machine used for shaping and carving wood. The instructor will provide personalized feedback and guidance to help students overcome challenges and improve their craftsmanship every step of the way.
Tuition: $55; plus $5 materials fee paid to teacher
Ages: 13-adult (under 13 can attend with a registered adult and work together on one pen)
**Those who are visiting the park to attend this class must pay $7 for parking upon entry to the park.**
