Chamber hosts Alleghany County Board of Supervisors Candidate Meet & Greets

This year, the Chamber is taking a new approach to candidate events. Instead of a traditional question and answer panel format, the Meet & Greet will be more relaxed and interactive. Candidates will be spaced around the room, giving community members the chance to walk through, ask questions, and have one-on-one conversations with each candidate.

The Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce & Tourism is hosting two Candidates Meet & Greet events this year. The Candidates Meet & Greets are being sponsored by the Chamber as an effort to encourage citizens to become more involved in local government by learning about the issues and positions of local candidates. The public is encouraged to attend.
