Holiday classics, off-the-sketch family-friendly comedy, and memorable lyrics will fill the air at the Historic Masonic Theatre on Friday, December 12th at 7pm!
Erich Cawalla and The Uptown Band are a Pennsylvania “Supergroup” and truly a band for all ages. They are looking forward to making their debut appearance at The Historic Masonic Theatre performing their “Christmas Extravaganza and Variety Show”. The Uptown Band’s leader and founder, Erich Cawalla, is a Nationally-Charting Singer, Saxophonist, Recording Artist, and Educator. Admittedly, Erich is an “old soul” with a love of artists from the past including Frank Sinatra, The Skyliners, Frankie Valli, Smokey Robinson, and many others. This is evident in Erich’s music. His latest release, an original catchy melody called “DooWoppin”, was recently featured on the Nationally-Syndicated show “Cool Bobby B’s DooWop Stop” on Sirius XM Radio. This was truly a dream fulfilled for Erich. The LA Music Scene’s Scott Yanow states “Erich Cawalla shows that he is a top-notch singer quite capable of creating memorable music in several different genres”.
The exhilarating musical synergy Erich Cawalla & The Uptown Band has created with audiences in their home region of the Northeast and beyond continues to grow. Since 2006 and for almost 20 years, they have been an AWARD-WINNING PREMIER CHOICE as the featured act at over 2000 shows. The Uptown Band has earned a solid reputation as one of the country’s most versatile and respected live bands.
