The Virginian Review will be hosting the 2024 Election Debates at The Historic Masonic Theatre in Clifton Forge, VA, on October 3, 2024, from 6pm-8pm. All City/Town council candidates from Covington, Clifton Forge and Iron Gate have been invited to participate. The debate will be live-streamed on the Virginian Review’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/virginiannews
The purpose of this debate is to hear from each candidate on their positions and how they plan to serve the citizens of the Alleghany Highlands. This will be an educational forum for voters to be better informed about their voting choices.
