“The Clifton Forge Public Library is pleased to help Clifton Forge School of the Arts celebrate its 8th annual KRISKINDLMARKT with their November display, “KRISKINDLMARKT: A Holiday Tradition in the Alleghany Highlands.”
Executive Director, Laura Rainone, and School of the Arts member of the Board of Directors, Lisa Petrosky, arranged the exhibit which highlights the work of the School’s instructors: German fiber artist Andrea Curry, whose Scandinavian Tomtes spread holiday cheer; hand-forged work by Blacksmith Glen Bryant; Jewelry by artist Mar Jimenez; a one-of-a-kind wooden tribute to KRISKINDLMARKT by woodworker Rolf Brunner; hand-painted gourds by artist Lisa Petrosky; and pottery by Cyndy Littleton of Fire and Clay Studios.
“These pieces offer just a glimpse of the beautiful work which will be available for purchase during KRISKINDLMARKT,” Rainone says.
