Due to its great popularity, the Clifton Forge Public Library is pleased to extend its “Fairy Houses” display throughout the month of November.
The display, by local artist Sandra Tamanini, features artistic creations enhanced primarily with natural items such as bark, dried mushrooms, acorns, and pinecones in addition to mosses, lichens, and shelf molds that she gathers in the woods. Sandy also shops on Amazon and in thrift stores for additional items “that can be refashioned to add charm and pretend function to the home. The final touch,” she says, “is the fairies that live there.”
If you’ve missed this magical display – or simply want to see it again – now is the time to visit the library and enjoy the enchantment.
The Clifton Forge Public Library is located at 535 Church Street.
