The Friends of the Clifton Forge Public Library are sponsoring a raffle for a Star Snowman from The Polonaise Collection.
Hand-crafted in Poland by Komozja exclusively for Kurt S. Adler, Inc., the vintage ornament was donated by Gayle Hillert and includes the original box plus a stand donated by Nancy Kilian.
Komozja’s Polonaise Collection is known for its spectacular array of glass ornaments made in the tradition of the age-old European craft of hand-blown glass. Reminiscent of glass ornaments of yesteryear, each piece has finely sculpted detail, is silvered, lacquered, then hand-painted in exquisite colors.
Raffle tickets are $1.00 each; or, six tickets for $5.00. The tickets may be purchased at the Clifton Forge Public Library.
The drawing will be held on the afternoon of December 19.
