The Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce & Tourism is hosting meet and greet events for the 3 candidates running for Virginia’s 6th Congressional District, U.S. House of Representatives. The Chamber is sponsoring these events as an effort to encourage citizens to become more involved in local government by learning about the issues and positions of candidates. The public is encouraged to attend.
Ken Mitchell, the Democratic candidate, will be in the Underground of the Historic Masonic Theatre on Tuesday, August 20th from 6:00pm – 7:00pm to share his campaign vision and the reasons he wishes to represent our region.
After Candidate Mitchell finishes speaking, the audience is welcome to mingle and enjoy light refreshments.
