Clifton Forge Public Library Director Mike Barnes is pleased to announce that he and Santa Claus have finalized plans to bring one of Santa’s elves to the library. The elf is coming on a special mission – to distribute gift bags to area children ages 3-12.
Santa’s elf will be in the library parking lot on Monday, December 14, between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m.
Parents or legal guardians are asked to drive to the parking lot side of the building and to remain inside their vehicles. Library staff will assist Santa’s elf in handing the Christmas bags to the children.
As the number of gift bags is limited for this special drive-through event, parents must phone the library to sign up their children. Participants do not have to be a member of the library. Parents are encouraged to phone early as registration will stop when the total number of gift bags is reached.
Santa’s elf along with library staff will wear masks and gloves and will maintain social distancing.
