The Clifton Forge Public Library will host the Bright Star Touring Theatre on Wednesday, July 31. The program will begin at 11:00 a.m., and will be held at the Clifton Forge Fire Department, located at 701 Church Street.
Bright Star Touring Theatre will present “Storybook Tales: Pinocchio and Robin Hood.” While dashing through the streets of an Italian village, lessons of responsibility and parental love shine through as Pinocchio struggles to become real. Hiking through England’s Sherwood Forest, Maid Marian and the Sheriff of Nottingham engage in exciting exploits with Robin Hood.
Delightful and engaging, the program will include lots of audience participation.
“Storybook Tales” is presented as part of the library’s summer reading program for children ages 3-12.
Parents or guardians should accompany their preschoolers and primary grade children.
