Masa is a particular kind of rice paper that creates textures as if by magic! When folded or crumpled the “crisp” side of the paper takes color well and when crumpled produces an unusual batik-like look that is interesting as is or creates cool textures for collage. You can make great rock walls, boulders, branches-shapes of all sorts! It is a fun way to experiment. Wear clothes to can “play dirty”; come ready for adventure Please bring a brown bag lunch or a sack-once we start you may not want to stop! All supplies will be provided. It also works well with other papers for collage. Paper, paint, and brushes provided for several efforts as you learn new reasons to crumple and fold! Ages 13 and up. Fee $25 and includes all supplies.
