As part of its summer reading program for children, the Clifton Forge Public Library will host Muscles with Russell.
The program will be held at the Clifton Forge Fire Department, located at 701 Church Street.
Russell, an 8-year-old Staffordshire Terrier, assisted by his owner, Sue Ellen Haver, shares his abilities with children and captivates them in a way that only a dog can do. He demonstrates how he makes right choices while providing motivation and inspiration.
Russell holds the AKC Canine Good Citizen Certification, the Therapy Dog Alliance Certification, and current Veterinary Health Certifications.
Sue Ellen is a speech pathologist/audiologist, a certified wellness coach, and the author of several children’s books and motivational coloring books.
Parents or guardians should accompany their preschoolers and primary grade children
