This class caters to both beginners with no prior experience and experienced painters looking to explore new techniques.
In this one-day class, artist Andrea Curry will guide you to make a 12” square barn quilt with colors that complement your decor. By the end of class, you will have gained a comprehensive understanding of painting barn quilts, from conceptualizing designs to applying techniques that bring them to life. This class fosters a sense of community and appreciation for both art and local culture.
Please bring an apron or wear clothing suitable for painting, a hair dryer, and up to six colors of interior/exterior latex paint (BEHR sample sizes of interior/exterior Premium Plus Ultra or Marquee from Home Depot are required; DO NOT BUY VALSPAR)
Registration will close TWO WEEKS prior to class date to provide time for the instructor to purchase and prime wooden panels.
