One of country music’s rising stars and a fan favorite Tim Elliott will be in concert Saturday, June 1 from 6:30 – 9:30 at the River Rock Amphitheatre located at the Jackson River Sports Complex. Growing up just outside Boone, North Carolina Tim learned to play the guitar at an early age and his family would get together and perform bluegrass and gospel music. His career of performing music started when he and his grandpa would travel to different churches to sing. His music is greatly influenced by bluegrass and classic country. He performs songs by many artists as well as some of his own original songs. You can bet his show will include “BOOM,” his 1ST country single. He has received Carolina’s Male Country Artist of the Year award twice. The City of Covington Parks and Rec staff welcomes everyone to come join them for a free night of good music and fellowship.
