The Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce & Tourism is hosting meet and greet events for the 3 candidates running for Virginia’s 6th Congressional District, U.S. House of Representatives. The Chamber is sponsoring these events as an effort to encourage citizens to become more involved in local government by learning about the issues and positions of candidates. The public is encouraged to attend.
Robert “Robby” Wells Jr., the Independent candidate, will be in the Community Room of the Alleghany Highlands Regional Library on Tuesday, August 27th from 6:00pm – 7:00pm to share his campaign vision and the reasons he wishes to represent our region.
After Candidate Wells finishes speaking, the audience is welcome to mingle and enjoy light refreshments.
