The Commonwealth of Virginia’s official Opry, The Virginia Opry (est. 1992) in Clifton Forge, will perform “Ushering in the Christmas Season” on stage at The Historic Masonic Theatre on Sat, Nov. 30, at 7:00 p.m.

Michael Hoover, the world champion Elvis tribute artist who defeated 95 other Elvis tribute artists in Memphis to win the world title, will perform “Blue Christmas,” one of Elvis’ major hits along with other hit songs that Elvis recorded during his career that earned Elvis the title, “The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Hoover, the former box office record holder for The Virginia Opry at The Historic Masonic Theatre, has performed his tribute across the United States and in Mexico and Canada.
The gospel music band, Crimson River, has been performing in the Alleghany Highlands for more than a decade. The gospel music group helped save The Virginia Opry’s 33-years- consecutive-performance-streak during the COVID-19 pandemic by performing The Virginia Opry’s Christmas show at The Historic Masonic Theatre in 2020, a live music show that was steamed on “Facebook” without an audience in the theatre.
Glen Shelton, a Nashville recording artist, will perform as a featured vocalist and emcee. He will be accompanied by his guitarist, Steven Blevins who will be inducted into The Virginia Opry as
its 72nd member the night of the show. Shelton has opened for more than 40 nationally prominent country music acts, and he has charted multiple Top 50 songs on the national Music Row Country Chart after signing with Jordash Records of Nashville in 2022.
