You will gain insight into the various tools and materials integral to the broom making process, and learn about the unique quality of broomcorn as a broom making material.
In this hands-on and immersive experience, each participant will craft their own assortment of brooms. This includes creating a cobweb broom, a round Shaker broom, a round hand broom, and even a turkey wing style broom. Depending on time constraints, additional broom projects may be explored.
Guiding you through this inspiring weekend of broom making is none other than master broom maker Gary Robinson, whose expertise and passion will infuse new life into this ancient craft. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this captivating exploration into the world of brooms.
