Paint a Barn Quilt

Learn to paint your own Barn Quilt with Pam Hirt.  This is an image of her First Place Award from the 2021 WV State Fair.  Pam began needlepoint & embroidery in middle school, and later discovered cross stitch and fell in love!  Barn Quilts have become her new love, and the gridding involved is much like that of cross stitch only on a much larger scale.  Rather than using traditional quilt patterns, Pam designs her own Barn Quilts.

This 2-day class will take place on May 14th & 21st from 11am-2pm.  There will be room for 8 students (16+), so register early!  The cost is $90, and Pam supplies most of the materials.

Here is what you need to bring: A favorite quilt pattern of your choosing (6 colors or less,*Pam will supply black & white); Sample size outdoor paints (semi-gloss or satin is ok/NOT Valspar Brand); Yellow or Purple 1″ Painters Tape; 1″ Angled Brush & a small brush for touch-ups.
